RCY RIDE
REPORT
Sullivan Canyon from
Caballero Canyon
Saturday
04-07-07
You have (or you should
have) already read the stupendous report of this magnificent ride provided
by the galactically recognized syndicated columnist Uncle Louie (Click
here to read Kosher Ride Report). His
words have already painted a stunning mental picture of the wonderful
ride that we took through Caballero Canyon, Mulholland Fireroad, Sullivan
Canyon, and Bent Arrow (aka The Red Car) Trail. But I will attempt to add
a few physical memories through the following photos. I hope you
enjoy.....
The initial 12 who began
the ride from the Caballero Canyon Trailhead on Reseda
Boulevard
Efi, Mickey, Dean,
SteveK, George, DayveW, Mike? (a new rider with us), DavidR, Joe, SteveW, &
Cheryl (and that's my
red truck)
Dayve plunges off
the lip of a short but steep downhill in Sullivan Canyon
David follows down
the same drop
Cheryl shows how to
do it on her new Ibis
SteveK drops down on
his new Ellsworth Epiphany
Dean flys through in
a blur
Several riders at
the top of the drop decide to take an alternate path:
From the left: Joe
& George lead Matthew & Shah, who increased our number to 14 after
riding up Westridge to meet us
SteveW aka Uncle
Louie aka The Dave Barry of Mountain Biking zips thru the canyon
Matthew is but a
blur as he tears through Sullivan Canyon
Shah loving the
E-Ticket ride through Sullivan Canyon
Mickey is all smiles
as he rides the beautiful canyon
Efi loves to
climb. Here his front wheel comes off the ground as he tackles this
short, steep section
A great day of mountain biking in So
Cal.
That's all Folks,
Robco Baggins
