Tel Aviv and HaYarkon River Park July 10, 2007

We woke up early (5:30 a.m.) and Yoni rode the rental bike to Uzy's Condo, while I walked the 1 mile to his Condo.  There I mounted Uzy's extra bike (a beautiful red Santa Cruz) and we rode through the streets and trails of Tel Aviv, through the Old Port of Tel Aviv to the Ha Yarkon River Park.

Uzy's friend and a great mountain biker Avi Shi joined us for the ride.  Avi has traveled the world with his mountain bike.

And then of course Coffee after the ride.  It was hot about 80-90 degrees with 80% humidity.  About 20 miles of riding.  It was great.

With all my excitement I forgot to turn on my GPS until close to the end of the ride, therefore the map is only the latter part of the ride.

Click below to see the map,  be sure to check out the google earth map.
