Los Robles Trail

20March05

Five Manly men showed up at East Coast Bagels after a rainy Saturday.  It was decided unanimously to drive to the Moorepark trailhead to avoid the mud on the fire road (an excellent decision).  We drove off at 7:30 a.m. I hope no body showed up after that :(.   We did the usual up the switchbacks and to the picnic bench and then back down.  Check the Topo map for the exact route (a picture is worth a thousand words).  It was a short but beautiful ride about 8 miles and 1500 feet of elevation gain.  There was a little mud here and and there, but at the end I did not have to wash my bike.
