Trippet Ranch

I had a rare Saturday off from work and so got to ride.  Although I considered riding with the BBKings on The Road :o(, I could not resist the siren call of the dirt.  But rather than driving up Topanga Canyon I decided to ride from the Top of Reseda, up to the Hub via FireRoad 30, and then down to Trippet Ranch to meet the RCYers.

As I approached the driveway that led into the Trippet parking lot, I spied the 3 RCYers who showed up for the ride--Docs George and Joe and Attorney SteveK.   I turned around and the four of us headed up and down the fireroad that goes to Paseo Miramar Drive.  The weather was cool and the sky bright blue, providing perfect riding weather.  At the bottom of the fireroad we did the usual pavement ride down to Sunset for the short pedal over to Palisades Drive and the climb up to Michael Lane where we climbed up Trailer Canyon Fireroad to The Hub.

At the Hub I bid adieu to the others and headed back to my vehicle at Reseda Blvd.  My mileage was a little over 24 mountain miles.  I don't know what the elevation was but my legs tell me it was plenty!!!  Hope I have the energy left for Sunday on Los Robles Trail.
