By Barbara!
As promised, here is the Saturday ride report, complete with photos.
I arrived at the trail head at Wendy Drive as the RCY'ers were crossing the creek on their way to the black top. I knew if I was going to catch them I would have to jam. As I hadn't ridden with the group in a year or more I wondered if it was possible to catch up with them. Good fortune was with me as I caught a glimpse of a yellow and red jersey making their way up a single track trail (name unknown). As I pedaled up the trail I passed the first of the group, Neil (a new rider), next I caught up with my second rider, (turned out to be Joe).

I asked him if he knew the name of the trail and where it went, he replied, "No, but I don't, but don't I know you?"
"Yes," replied "I'm Barbara. I have ridden with the group before. Is it okay if I tag along?"
And so began 28.9 miles of fun with lots of climbing in the warm early morning sun.
I don't know where we went...Except that we did ride Gadalasco trail, the Overlook trail and Backbone trail.

Riders included, Joe, Ali, Dave, George, Neil (who turned around early on) and myself. I hope I got that right.

These photos were taken with a wearable camera, just a little bit larger than a lipstick!

I took this one while riding. Ali, I'm right behind you!
The ride was absolutely breathtaking. Wildflowers in bloom everywhere. Snakes out sun bathing and the trails were in great shape despite all out rain.
To be continued...
More Photos.

Lot's of smiling faces despite the 28.9 miles.

Did I mention we rode 28.9 miles!
That's all folks.
Hope to catch up with the rest of the group on another ride soon.
Thanks for letting me tag along.
